Strange Bedfollows: BLM and The New York Times

People wonder why BLM is (was) such a big issue in the most segregated place on the face of the earth: Manhattan. It’s because BLM is useful to The Agenda (the LIST or the THAT). The Agenda advances on two fronts: 1) To gain legitimacy, it latched unto the most potent social force in modern times (slavery Civil Rights) by casting itself as an oppressed minority. [Here's how wicked this is: slavery was a sin against the 6th Commandment (BLM as victim). The LIST transgresses (the exact opposite of victims) the 7th Commandment]. The more it can now inflame tensions around race (while masquerading as such), the swifter its advance to the point of no return. Once, entrenched, the thinking is, it can never be undone. Once leprosy goes mainstream, it no longer makes sense to ask the leper to change his spots; 2) the second front draws on the first, in part. By clinging to Civil Rights, the Agenda is able to shield itself from the traditional accusations of depravity, in that, the source of those accusations is currently reeling from charges of church complicity in slavery. The 7th Commandment (where the Agendra stands condemned) has been made to stand down. Last week the New York Times and Washington Post threatened to burn the Southern Baptist Convention to the ground when they were able to link race to the Atlanta murderer’s obsession with Church “purity culture.” This week, Bob Jones University and Baylor felt compelled to give written assurance to the Washington Post that they would by all means “respect” the Agendra, because of The List’s “inherent dignity.” Why this groveling before the seat of Anti-Christ, and why now? Because Biden is making good on his campaign promise to give The LIST full Civil Rights protection, which means Christians will either silence the 7th Commandment, or lose Government aid. Liberty University receives $723 (I'm told its actually $770) million a year, Baylor $142 million. This has 666 funding written all over it. You don’t compete against Notre Dame on the widow’s two mites. To keep the millions, Biden demands assurance that not only will Christian institutions cease and desist anti-LISTphobia (that is, hit the mute button on purity preaching), but grant assurance that they will actually promote The List. This Bob Jones University will do by emphasizing “respect” for “the inherent dignity” of The List. In other words, the List will now be made compatible with the 7th Commandment. Actually, because it is now labeled as anti-LIST hate speech, the 7th Commandment will now draw the fire of the 6th Commandment (thou shalt not hate). Because the 6th Commandment condemns hate speech, and as the severity of the 7th Commandment is now considered phobic, it stands condemned by the 6th. So now we have an all out war raging within the very heart of Scripture, the 6th and 7th Commandments at war with each other in what amounts to a circular firing squad of cosmic dimensions. This is no mere squabble. This is a clash of Titans within the innermost sanctum of the Bible: The Law itself. The two pillars of the human race (the sanctity of life against the sanctity of marriage--birth) made to draw swords on one another for their mutual destruction. This is the LARGEprint of the 666 Fund. It’s not even in the footnotes. The leper no longer sees the need to hide his spots. The crime that dare not speak its name (how they talked about THAT until 50 years ago) is now given pride of place in Christian Institutional handbooks. Biden will accept no less. He converted Obama into being the first That President, and now he can lead the charge against the Church redoubts himself.

$723 million for Bible study. Wonder what the tax man thinks when he sees “2 mites--from a widow” on the ledger line above the next entry, $723,000,000 from 666, when his weary eye looks at the books? You see the problem. 2 mites don’t go far in our day. Imagine trying to maintain the Temple on 2 mites. And once the Temples are there, Herod knows you’ll come begging. Biden is waiting for them. By writing to the Washington Post, Bob Jones University is virtue signaling that they understand the terms. The terms will be spiritual suicide, but “if you cannot dig, and to beg you’re ashamed,” you cut your losses and make hay while (or how or with what) you can--imagine trying to feed bales made up of rocks, thorns, thistles, and noxious mud to sheep . The Supreme Court will step in and save the day. But it will have to do so by affecting a compromise. You get the $4.2 billion, but you’ll at least have to adopt a “don’t ask, don’t tell, and don’t preach against” policy. That will do--for now. “First the blade, then the ear, and then the hideous tare within the ear.”

Many things make sense if you keep in view these two fronts of The Agendra: 1) It gains legitimacy from the Civil Rights Movement, and 2) By discrediting and silencing the former obstacle, 7th Commandment purity doctrine, it is given free rein to advance unopposed.

But back to BLM and Manhattan's new found love for it. It is not a natural connection, in that Manhattan is the Fashion capital of the world; it is the richest place in the world; it is the whitest place in the world: Massa above, all the po folk down below. But what’s this got to do with THE LIST? Because, although BLM is (in Fashion's view) the opposite of Fashion, it has become the legitimizing agent of the List, enlisted to bear the heat of the day and carry Massa’s LIST to respectability. Because, as they say in Africa, The List is the rich white man’s disease. It is Massa's disease. Throughout history it has never been more than the refined vice of bored aristocrats ever in search of a stronger dose of depravity. The LIST is only the latest narcotic of aristocrats who tired of mistresses long ago. The Greeks and Romans called it the vice of the Oriental court. They were no sooner exposed to it but they succumbed to it. “For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret” (Eph. 5:12). Such was the judgment of History. Even aristocrats understood that they had succumbed to “the dungeon.” But now for the first time in History, it seeks social legitimacy. For this, it needs to dismantle the former obstacle (the 7th), and attach to a potent social host to carry it into the body politic where it hopes to incubate to the point of no return. Once incarnated, it will throw poor BLM under the bus. For now though, he is merely asked to know his betters and take his customary seat at the back of the bus. The Floyd trial is the mouse that roared. The New York Times senses that it no longer has legs, and has moved on. BLM is worse off than before. The New York Times incited him to burn down his own neighborhood in order to get the Biden Agendra back on track, and now BLM is left with the wreckage, poorer than before. Meanwhile Manhattan is as shiny as ever. Massa is a cruel massa. And Manhattan is the world’s biggest Massa. And the New York Times is his Ministry of Propaganda. And all for The Agendra.

This is the tragedy here. No one doubts that black people have suffered incalculable cruelty, oppression, and rejection from everyone lighter than themselves. Slavery had extermination as its root. It was the trial run for Nazi Germany in that it went beyond physical cruelty to striking at the image of God Himself. It was soul murder. When a preacher uses language like “the vile stream from the fens of Africa,” he is striking God in the face. Because God looks precisely like “the vile stream from the fens of Africa.” If He doesn’t, burn your Bible. If that is not true then the Bible is the biggest fraud in History. Once slavery ended, planters would have wanted nothing more than for a Hitler to come in and cleanse the land from black people. They so dehumanized them, that their preachers could write thick books with only passing mention of “darkies” (half the population around them--they didn’t want to see them in Heaven either). The famous theologian Robert L Dabney referred to them as “the vile stream from the fens of Africa.” To call a black woman a lady would be considered blasphemy against the godlike purity of the white woman. The black man was not made in the image of God, and to call him a gentleman would be an insult to civilization. Why? Because, the Confederacy, like Nazism, was a fashion statement. Norwegian and Swedish models could be dumb as bats, and Trump and the Rev. Graham would fly them in by the trainloads. They too are in the grips of Fashion. A good deal of the Wall is about Fashion. Hitler thought his own appearance did not rise to the Standard. He paired godlike men with godlike women to create the Master race. He would have imported the Nordic countries lock, stock, and barrel. This is all about Fashion. The famous Baptist preacher, W. A. Criswell, wrestled with this demon within himself all his life. He knew full well the implications of such thinking: He was striking God in the face. There is no record that he overcame it even on his deathbed. Undoubtedly, on the Day of Judgment, God will wear the face you despised most. For man is how God looks in the mirror. Despise well then.

But where is fashion today? Massahattan is its capital. And the New York Times its Ministry of Propaganda. Just look at those models who advertise those $50,000 handbags. They look nothing like BLM. What do they look like? They used to call them stick insects. Starved to look like andrognous children. Why? Because fashion directors identify as The List. This is what fashion was among Greeks. The rich man’s vice. The LIST, Nixon used to say, is what destroyed Greece and Rome. It's the worship of beauty, and like all idolatry turns into depravity (Rom. 1).

Which means that the trial in Minneapolis, no matter the outcome, is the last whimper of BLM. The days of rage are over because of exhaustion. An acquittal will produce no more than a whimper. The Agendra has moved on. BLM is made to sit in back of the bus once again, used and abused. Allowing itself to be hijacked by the Agendra will set Civil Rights back 50 years.
