AN OUTPOST OF HELL

I said the Judge would make me pay for not groveling. So now I get a summons to do jury duty for the first six months of next year--sent by the same clerk who does all the court stuff. I’m not voter registered so this is way off the radar. They obviously took exception to what I wrote--most likely the Ka-chinging part, so they decided to punish me by giving me an overdose of it. I’m all too happy to oblige. Because they know I always show up with my Bible and this time I won’t have a gun pointed at my head. I love preaching to the choir, and as they can tell, I can make hay with what goes on in that Courtroom, and I’m always in search of good hay. I can make good hay here. Real good hay. But do they really want me in the peanut gallery? Frankly, I’ll probably just let everyone off free under the law of mercy. No Christian could ever be part of any of this, as no Christian could ever have anything to do with a jail. You’d let them all out and ask God to protect you before you would chain a human being to a bench like a beast. That shackle would become a noose in your heart and strangle your soul. The day you take the life of another human is the last day you will ever read the Bible meaningfully (much less joyfully), unless God gives you tears of repentance. This is Cain’s domain, and you can feel the very brutality and violence of Hell the minute you walk through the first door. The Courtroom is a dungeon of shivering mice under the cat’s paw--the Ka-chinging is the most depraved thing I’ve ever witnessed. Nothing (for a Christian) like watching the wretched of the earth paying for their transgressions with the Mammon of unrighteousness. “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourself, it is the gift of God.” Ka-ching. “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.” Ka-ching. "Come unto me ye that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest....come, without money and without price.” Ka-ching. "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Ka-ching, Ka-ching. "For you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins." "Ka-ching. "Today you shalt be with me in Paradise." Ka-ching. "A half-shekel for the rich," says old Moses, "and a half-shekel for the poor, is all you need to make atonement for your souls." For the ground is level at the foot of the Cross. How much is a half-shekel? As much as you can pick up off the street anytime of the day. Here, God says in Isaiah, I'll give you a half-shekel. Take it and nail your sins to the Cross. "For if you will make His life (Christ's) an offering for sin, He (God) will see the travail of His soul (on your behalf) and be satisfied." Now there's a Ka-ching for you. The Cross of mercy is God's First Courtroom where He transacts the business of the soul, and where you get your voucher to avoid The Second. For there, on the smoldering shores of the Lake of Fire, Ka-chinging will be a mere formality to close the books forever, as "death and Hell are now cast into the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death." "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal live through Jesus Christ our Lord." "Ye must be born again...."for except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
